Requirements
- A terminal degree in business from a regionally accredited institution is required OR a terminal degree in a leadership-related field.
- Must have an MBA and/or have completed relevant coursework at the master’s level in quantitative methodologies, data analysis, statistics, finance, business analytics, or operations management.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in business and at least 3 years of management experience preferred. OR If no terminal degree, at least 10 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) software and overall computer skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation.
- Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing of course objectives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
- Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum using technology and videos.
- Arrive on-campus at least half an hour before the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter.
- Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course.
- Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
- Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
- Adhere to University policies and procedures.
- Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Canvas experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an economic related field of Business, such as an Economist, Financial Management, Market Research Analyst, Financial Analyst, Budget Analyst, etc. Some international business or economic experience is preferred.
