Responsibilities
- Learning about many diverse books of business. Lines can span across many different areas including healthcare, warranty, workers’ compensation, professional liability, property, and more.
- Generating actuarial indications alongside Pricing leadership. As part of this you will be involved in conversations regarding different non-rate strategies that can be applied for these niche books of business.
- Owning a portfolio of Programs and building relationships across Pricing, Reserving, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and other business units. Alongside Pricing Leadership, you will leverage insights to create business recommendations.
- Completing other project work relevant to the portfolio which could span across the Programs planning unit or other Pricing areas.
- Assisting in setting the financial forecast for the E&S Programs Pricing books.
- Exploring the use of new software packages and making recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically, 2-4 years of proven experience in P&C insurance with a focus on pricing.
- This position is open to students that are still taking exams and require exam support.
