Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4-years)
- All Introductory ASA exams plus 1 Actuarial/Advanced ASA Exam or Requirement
- Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) coursework completion
- 3 years of actuarial experience
- Ability to work independently; self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
Responsibilities
- Major contributor on the team responsible for the Insurance Stat reserve processes. This includes calculating, analyzing, and communicating results effectively to leaders and peers across various functional groups.
- Heavily involved in maintaining and improving Insurance Stat reserve models through improvement of quarterly processes and creation of analytical tools.
- Assist and help drive various projects, including year-end memorandum updates, annual assumption update exercise, etc.
- Build and present exhibits that assist with quarter-end and year-end reporting.
- Professional development to maintain Actuarial credentials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Access, Prophet, Python, and SQL Server.
