Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- This role is part of the Medical Accounting team and supports the centralization and oversight of accounting work done outside of accounting
- Annually reviewing reconciliations prepared outside of accounting to ensure compliance with accounting policies and to mitigate the risk of errors held on the balance sheet
- Analyzing business processes for which the accounting is currently done outside of the CAO organization to evaluate and conclude if a shift to accounting is appropriate
- Developing and executing transition of accounting for processes brought into the Accounting organization and stabilizing post-transition while assuming process ownership
