Accounting Practitioner

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in Construction/General Contractor Organization, preferably with Federal government contracting background
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience processing vendor invoices through workflow for multiple entities and projects
Have an understanding of foreign currency exchange
Proficient in CMiC or similar construction ERP
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, high or intermediate Excel
Positive, professional attitude
Strong desire to learn and grow with the Division and Enterprise
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail

Scanning AP Invoices
Process payments, invoices and vouchers
Extract specified information or add appropriate standard coding and attachments to documents
Compile simple summaries of information relating to documents processed
Manage timesheet collection, approval and other items related to the payroll process
Locate and extract information from files and records as requested
May perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division manually or using a calculator
Assist Senior Accounting Practitioner under close supervision
