Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of established accounting procedures by entering transactions into accounting software and identifying and correcting any discrepancies
- Assemble monthly Accounts Receivable reporting for business units within A&H triage throughout the month to adhere to regulatory and corporate requirements
- Prepare and process payment requests in accordance to accounts payable procedures
- Develop standard monthly reporting for a subset of our clients with keen eye to ensure data accuracy
- Support cash management procedures by appropriately allocating incoming cash, monitoring multiple accounting systems and maintaining accurate documentation
- In partnership with internal peers, maintain consistency with month and year end closing processes and procedures by reconciling assigned accounts and reporting is prepared
- Review and analyze accounting issues, communicate feedback to internal and external partners, share knowledge, resolve questions and provide recommendations to support achievement of business objectives
- Assist junior level team members by addressing questions, reviewing billing information and maintaining consistency and close collaboration with the senior leadership team
- Collaborate with internal peers to resolve complex billing issues and/or conflicts that may prevent payment of premiums
