Accountant Senior III

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Business Administration
Four years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, revenue accounting, or internal auditing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to efficiently analyze large datasets, using advanced functions and data analysis tools including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation, complex formulas, charting, and automation, to extract and analyze, mine, and manipulate data.

Examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records to prepare financial statements
Partnering with lines of business to provide accounting consulting, advice, and support
Compiling and analyzing financial statements, information, and reports
Developing revenue/expense and other financial analyses, reports, and presentations
Preparing detailed reports on audit findings
Reporting to management regarding audit results
Preparing and recording journal entries for period-end close processes
Preparing account reconciliations and disclosures for SEC filings
Comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook
Preparing revenue and expense accruals and reviewing accuracy of revenue, gross margin, and expense information
Creating and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Financial forecasting and developing budgets and financial projections
Performing ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis and modeling and special project support
Participating in strategic planning and budget process
Developing financial models for business initiatives
Identifying and implementing processes and improvements in planning, analysis, reporting, and monitoring
Leveraging information technology to automate, streamline and integrate processes
Monitoring internal control environment and identifying gaps in controls
Identifying trends and developments.
