Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare various pages and schedules, coordinate submissions of other pages and schedules from internal partners for annual & quarterly statements.
- Work closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete legal entity external audits.
- Prepare MD&A’s including variance analysis.
- Generate and record Statutory entries to the general ledger.
- Assist on DOI examinations as needed.
- Assist on department projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA preferred
