Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred in accounting, auditing, finance, or general business.
  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal or external groups.
  • Demonstrated skills in detecting anomalies or variations from expected results.
  • Ability to formulate and implement relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound judgements and prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Possess high ethical standards and ability to apply critical thinking.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computer-based accounting software or decision support systems is required.
  • Ability to handle and assume responsibility for a large volume of diversified work.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares complete and accurate journal entries as assigned, with appropriate documentation and approval.
  • Analyze financial statements and variance reports as requested.
  • Able to create, edit, upload and maintain documents for any accounting function.
  • Analyzes, reconciles and maintains data for various applications and third party vendors.
  • Acts on behalf of the department as a liaison for internal department inquiries.
  • Participates in work groups and committees as requested.
  • Creates process improvements and assists with implementation of new systems as well as transitioning from manual processes to computerized or automated processes within designated time frames.
  • Reviews and reconciles general ledger assigned accounts as requested.
  • Scans, validates and files required documentation as requested.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred in accounting, auditing, finance, or general business.
