Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred in accounting, auditing, finance, or general business.
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal or external groups.
- Demonstrated skills in detecting anomalies or variations from expected results.
- Ability to formulate and implement relevant policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently, make sound judgements and prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Possess high ethical standards and ability to apply critical thinking.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computer-based accounting software or decision support systems is required.
- Ability to handle and assume responsibility for a large volume of diversified work.
Responsibilities
- Prepares complete and accurate journal entries as assigned, with appropriate documentation and approval.
- Analyze financial statements and variance reports as requested.
- Able to create, edit, upload and maintain documents for any accounting function.
- Analyzes, reconciles and maintains data for various applications and third party vendors.
- Acts on behalf of the department as a liaison for internal department inquiries.
- Participates in work groups and committees as requested.
- Creates process improvements and assists with implementation of new systems as well as transitioning from manual processes to computerized or automated processes within designated time frames.
- Reviews and reconciles general ledger assigned accounts as requested.
- Scans, validates and files required documentation as requested.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred in accounting, auditing, finance, or general business.
