Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to payment operations
- Knowledge of general ledger treatment and general accounting practices
- Experience with month-end close – account reconciliations, resolution of issues, reporting, etc.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of both financial and operational controls
- Ability to partner cross-functionally across various departments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Assist the content payment process through Coupa invoice & payment management
- Perform monthly processes to support our Licensed & Owned content business including, title reconciliation, data processing and accounting reconciliations ensuring accurate and timely journal entry postings for month-end close
- Track, maintain, and report key accounting information coming from off-platform exploitation, including the recording of proceeds due to Tubi and the operational reporting of results to inform talent obligations
- Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and providing necessary documentation related to Content Accounting
- Identify inefficiencies, process gaps, and enhance reporting for both Original content and Off-platform activity
- Analyze content spending, participation statements, and general content activity trends to verify accuracy, identify opportunities, and improve financial transparency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both Workday and Coupa
- Knowledge of ASC 920 and ASC 926 with experience in streaming content
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation
