Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in leading 360 advertising campaigns from idea conception through launch and optimization
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing direct reports and/or leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Collaboration Tools, especially PowerPoint and Google Slides

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead account manager(s) in the execution of their responsibilities, including meeting management, presentation materials development, job/budget tracking and management, competitive tracking, and status reports
  • Be knowledgeable and manage the details of all assigned client projects
  • Ensure clients are proactively and consistently up-to-date on all projects
  • Hold well-run meetings and own all pre, during, and post-meeting logistics – including written agendas and proper follow-up/recaps outlining key decisions and action items
  • Become and remain knowledgeable about assigned clients’ business, including marketing/communication objectives, KPIs, category, competition, etc.
  • Anticipate potential changes and obstacles with the client’s business and/or our relationship and involve the appropriate agency resources to bring to a resolution
  • Stay alert and share growth opportunities with Account lead to increase client activity and billing, as well as obtain new business from existing clients
  • Work closely with the Account Director to understand our clients’ business (marketing/communication objectives, KPIs, category, competition, etc.) and show increasing abilities to have a grasp of the issues and opportunities our clients face
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently
  • Partner with strategists to analyze all competitive advertising activity and lead the preparation of competitive reviews and updates
  • Ensure that project manager, creative, strategy, digital, and media groups are informed of any changes in client and/or competitive climate
  • Support senior account management staff in the preparation of client plans and recommendations
  • Participate as required with new business
  • Build strong, trusting client relationships that go beyond social and build hunger for bold, untested ideas
  • Supervise the planning and execution of advertising campaigns in accordance with client’s objectives and budget limitations
  • Responsible for delivering work on time and on budget
  • Work with Account Leadership, Production, and other department heads to define project scope, staffing, and time allocation for projects
  • Supervise Account Managers in day-to-day client and internal activities, helping to define their goals and career path
  • Set accurate expectations with clients, internal teams, and partner agencies on project schedules communicating any shifts along the way
  • Manage client questions as it relates to production timing, estimates, and workflow
  • Possess a strong understanding of our client’s businesses (marketing/communication objectives, KPIs, category, competition, etc.) and have a grasp of the issues and opportunities our clients face

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate has five or more years of agency or related communication industry experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, research, direct marketing, agency, finance, etc.
