Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-3 years’ experience in sales as an account specialist
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing new and existing retail accounts
- Experience working with retailers in grocery, club, drug, sporting goods, and other priority channels
- Experience with trade spend management, retailer systems, and new vendor set up
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many cross functional departments
- Highly detail-oriented, analytical, responsive, and able to consistently solve problems that arise in a level-headed manner
- Customer first attitude to handle all requests in a timely manner
- Deep understanding of key trends in retail and the beverage/consumer products industry
- Can do attitude with no reservations doing what it takes to get the job done
- History of managing multiple accounts in different classes of trade at the same time
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing existing retail accounts and help with onboarding new partners by coordinating necessary steps and ensuring a seamless process
- Help implement sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth and maximize account performance
- Gather data and insights to support recommendations for internal teams and retail partners
- Work closely with the Retail Operations team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, while identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Serve as a key point of contact for retail partners, responding to inquiries and helping to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Build strong, consultative relationships with all retail partners by listening to, understanding and then delivering on their needs
