Requirements
- 1-3 years previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, or relationship/partner management (within a call center environment) or client services (SMB)
- Salesforce experience – specifically with SF case management
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English, and Spanish is a plus
- Strong desire to achieve top results with a personable, positive “can-do” demeanor with a consistent record of success in a sales environment
- Focused, reliable self-starter with ability to prioritize effectively
- Organized and able to keep a cool head even in stressful situations
- Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet and computer
- Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- A love for small business and merchant success
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advisor and SumUp brand ambassador to our merchants
- Mentor, empower and educate merchants on our suite of products and the value they bring to the merchant’s business
- Understand the technology behind the products and competing products in the marketplace
- Consistently meet and exceed success metrics, including revenue and retention
- Connect with customers through phone, email, and chat to ensure satisfaction and utilization of SumUp products
- Research and resolve inquiries and issues from merchants
- Identify opportunities for merchants to consume additional products and services
- Upsell merchants with additional products to fuel growth and manage the sales cycle within Salesforce
- Contribute to scalability by optimizing processes and creating new content for support and Account Management
- Expand knowledge about the payments industry and collaborate with other departments
- Report on themed merchant issues or opportunities with products
- Recommend areas to improve efficiency to leadership and assist global teams with upsell activities
