Requirements
- 5+ years of insurance broker experience
- Property & Casualty license
- Proficient in MS Office
Responsibilities
- Focus on multinational business, specifically supporting clients from Marsh’s overseas operations who require insurance coverage in the U.S.
- Operate within the global commercial insurance marketplace while maintaining relationships with overseas offices and the clients in the US and abroad.
- Support clients by determining the scope of work needed in the US and identifying the necessary Marsh resources needed to meet the client objectives.
- Marketing the US insurance program while ensuring direct communication with U.S. clients and coordination with overseas teams in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
- Utilize professional experience to perform essential client functions, such as evaluating risks and reviewing client needs.
- Retain and generate new business by leveraging strategic information and managing contract reviews and midterm adjustments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and drive growth, while staying informed about market changes and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of professional work experience, including as a broker
- Experience with surplus line placements
