Requirements
- 2-3 years of commercial lines customer service experience in the insurance industry
- P&C license preferred
- Previous underwriting experience including evaluation of risk
- Familiarity with commercial lines policies including Property, Inland Marine, Crime, General Liability, Automobile, Excess Liability, Cyber, Fiduciary, Worker’s Compensation
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Vertafore Sagitta, Image Right and EPIC, Excel, Word, Internet a plus
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize day-to-day responsibilities and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong reading comprehensive and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
Responsibilities
- Primary customer service communication, both written and oral, with clients, sub-brokers and underwriters
- Maintaining excellent relations with clients, sub-brokers, underwriters and sales executives
- Preparing and marketing current renewal policies
- Preparing and marketing new business opportunities
- Assisting other team members with general day-to-day communications and supporting other team members when they are on vacation or out of the office
- Issuing Certificates of Insurance, Binders, Invoices, Auto ID cards, Policy Changes, Renewal and New Business Proposals
- Knowledge of municipal Tort Immunity Law (Pennsylvania)
- Maintaining all day-to-day communications in the agency management system – All documentation is electronic
- Client-facing meetings for renewal or any other situation as needed
- Travel to client meetings and annual municipal conventions as needed
Preferred Qualifications
