Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B sales
  • Strong understanding and prior experience with shipping logistics, e-commerce, and/or B2B SaaS products
  • Successfully closed business over the phone or in virtual meetings
  • A clear track-record of closing new business and exceeding sales quotas
  • Comfort with ambiguity, agility in your ways of working, and a willingness to adapt based on new information
  • Used consultative selling techniques to identify client needs and promote services
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to travel for Client meetings

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle (i.e., from lead generation to closing) for ShipAccel prospects/ clients, with a focus on generating new business within the mid-market eCommerce space (companies with $30-350M of annual revenue)
  • Use a customer-focused, consultative sales approach to educate prospective clients on which of our products or services will best fit their needs
  • Conduct product demos, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships across a wide array of prospects and clients
  • Work with our Inside Sales Representatives to prospect and generate leads to build a strong pipeline of future clients
  • Become an industry expert in eCommerce for global and domestic logistics, as well as a product expert that can identify and resolve inefficiencies and pain points in client workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our software products and identify new opportunities for company growth based on client feedback
  • Think critically about sales data to recommend new and scalable strategies
  • Build relationships with decision makers at all levels across a diverse set of industries
  • Record all activities in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management and perform various administrative duties as needed
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings virtually or in person when available/ required
  • Complete other duties as assigned
