Requirements
- 5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
- Proven experience in sales process and account management
- Level 2 General Insurance License
Responsibilities
- Recognize and actively pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct market research on prospects
- Remain current on business issues pertaining to prospects
- Network
- Follow up on leads
- Generate new business revenue by selling insurance coverage to clients
- Manage pipeline of candidates through the use of CORE system
- Maintain existing book of business
- Provide highest standard of client service
- Be flexible to the needs of each client
- Be up-to-date on all current coverage available
- Be proactive in foreseeing and meeting the needs of each client
- Attend client meetings in Coastal trading area
- Attend and actively participate in industry and company events/meetings
- Continue professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Recognized industry certification preferred (CAIB, CIP, CRM, BCIT Risk Management, etc.)
