Requirements
- Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred
- Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred
- Knowledge through education or experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Understanding of the current therapy principles in area of expertise
- On the job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles
Responsibilities
- Establish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and all other family members
- Maintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families
- Technicians must function as a member of the treatment team
- Understands the principles of behaviorally based programming and design
- Sustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities available within Pine Rest or individually
- Utilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors
- Apply ABA processes for behavior modification
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work or other areas related to Mental or Physical Health are desired but not required
