Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of previous experience in a supply chain, inventory management, or logistics role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), will be considered a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Knowledge of cycle counting, Kanban, and general inventory management principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the company’s cycle count program to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies, collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized stock room to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of items.
  • Regularly monitor stock levels and identify opportunities for improvement in space utilization.
  • Handle general shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing boxes and pallets for shipment and processing incoming materials.
  • Manage the configuration and shipment of pallets of single-use devices to and from sterilization facilities.
  • Ensure that all shipments and receipts are properly documented and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with purchasing inventory and non-inventory items, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
  • Update and maintain lead times, pricing, and other relevant data in the ERP system (D365) to ensure procurement activities are aligned with company needs.
  • Manage and support the Kanban replenishment process to ensure continuous availability of critical materials.
  • Monitor Kanban triggers and collaborate with the production team to adjust stock levels as necessary.
  • Perform all activities in compliance with applicable regulations, Fractyl’s policies and guidelines, including, but not limited to, timely documentation of activities and maintaining all required applicable training.
  • Bring a ‘can do’ spirit to work and deliver on other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with procurement and shipping/receiving preferred.
  • Applicable experience in biotech, pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries preferred.
  • Prior vocational experience in related fields a plus (i.e. Co-Ops, Internships, Fellowships, etc.).
