Senior Business Systems Analyst – Gft

3-4 years experience in a Business Systems Analyst role in Technology teams
Experience defining and documenting complex functional business logic
Expertise in data mapping and creating data mapping specifications
Familiarity with ETL processes and experience with Big Data and Terra Data platforms
Expertise in gathering, analyzing and documenting business rules for processing data
Expertise in test planning, test case preparation and testing of applications and data mapping
Familiarity with SQL database and experience with scripting languages (SQL)

Collaborate with Business partners and technology teams to develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document components, as per the requirements and detailed design
Translate requirements into functional specifications, and coordinate design phases, while identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues
Review technical design documents, understand how the design will be used in the code development process, and facilitate meetings to design, troubleshoot, and execute projects
Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs, code, and unit test plans
Conduct thorough unit testing, often developing and leveraging automated unit testing frameworks, and improve performance of single functions through performance tuning
Plan design/implementation activities, ensure technical solution quality, provide third-level support for various technologies, and drive technical platform evolution and improvements
Estimate activities/tasks required to perform design, coding, and unit testing

Strong experience working in Agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the Agile Framework
Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime offenses
Knowledgeable on business process modeling, process mapping
Knowledge of IT delivery methodologies: Agile, Iterative Waterfall and Waterfall
