Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills in technology, people, and processes within the Financial Risk and Non Finance Risk domain.
  • Implementational experience with either internal and/or external solutions meeting capital markets risk requirements across various regulatory requirements (e.g. SCCL, CCAR, SR 14, SACCR, FRTB, IIRB, CFTC Capital Rule, Stress Testing, Market Risk Rule, etc.).
  • Expertise in ServiceNow and other GRC implementations, including hands-on technical development and team management experience.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) level knowledge on market risk and credit risk technologies and data frameworks supporting the various regulatory requirements.
  • Must be from a technical background with hands-on technical development experience.
  • Expertise in vendor management and partnership across delivery and support.
  • Hands-on team management experience, building a team and maturing a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, ensuring informed and aligned decisions across technology and business stakeholder groups.
  • A College or University degree in Computer Science and/or relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership and direction in the development of Financial Risk & Non-Financial Risk management platforms capabilities.
  • Leads key programs in Financial Risk like Basel IV, FRTB and Risk & Control transformation with ServiceNow IRM/GRC tools.
  • Leads and manages technical development teams within the Risk Technology team in support of Risk management capabilities.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to drive initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Reviews systems development project requests and coordinates schedules and related departmental activities.
  • Holds the vendors accountable for the quality of deliverables and roadmap of the product.
  • Assumes accountability for the performance management, career development, and diversity programs in assigned areas.
