Technical Program Manager – Composites

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in composite manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a program or technical leadership role.
Strong technical understanding of composite materials, fabrication methods (layup, bonding, autoclave/oven curing), and structural design principles.
Demonstrated success in managing program schedules, technical scope, and cross-disciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, Jira) and standard office applications.
Expertise in advanced manufacturing tools (CAD, PLM, MES)
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills to set direction and mentor a diverse engineering team.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-iteration environment, balancing big-picture program goals with hands-on, real-time build solutions.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical and programmatic aspects of assigned composite assembly programs.
Own the program schedule, scope, and cost performance; develop detailed project plans and track milestones.
Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure program objectives are met.
Provide technical direction and program oversight from design through delivery of composite assemblies.
Manage program risks, issues, and changes, and communicate program status to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure technical solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements, while balancing cost and manufacturability.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, execution, and cross-team collaboration.
