Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have a Secret Clearance and must be eligible for Top Secret Clearance upgrade
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 of which must be in the DoD
  • 30+ years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in the DoD
  • Familiar with cloud-based systems, including management and projection of cost and performance
  • Familiar with agile methods and CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevOps principals
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75
  • Knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force
  • Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation including but not limited to briefings, documents, and plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Acquisition Strategy & Execution: Guide program planning and execution in alignment with DoD 5000 series, including support for milestone reviews, source selections, and acquisition reporting (e.g., TEMP, APB, MAR, DAES)
  • Contract & Program Oversight: Manage contract deliverables, schedules, and performance objectives. Track program health and provide actionable insights on cost, schedule, and performance risks
  • Test & Evaluation Support: Support integration of Mission Planning Environment (MPE) systems into OFP test cycles and oversee coordination of test events, readiness reviews, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Lifecycle Program Documentation & Reporting: Develop, review, and maintain acquisition documentation (e.g., RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, LCSPs). Prepare briefings and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership
  • Risk, Cost, & Earned Value Management: Conduct risk management activities, evaluate EVM and IMS data, and support budgeting and financial planning tools such as CCaR and IDECS
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Policy Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to PMs and IPTs, interpret evolving DoD acquisition policies, and ensure programs meet compliance, user requirements, and warfighter support objectives.
