External Warehousing Supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or another relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in warehousing.
• Ability to manage priorities and an excellent work methodology.
• Knowledge of SAP and ORACLE are an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations with our warehousing partners and Agropur’s internal teams.
• Lead weekly operational meetings with warehouse partners, review key performance indicators (KPIs) with them, implement action plans and perform root cause analyses when necessary.
• Be the primary contact with external warehousing partners across Canada.
• Occasionally visits sites and provides training when needed.
• Work closely with planning, inventory and transportation teams.
• Ensures that warehouses comply with the quality requirements set by Agropur.
• Manage the external warehousing emails and emergency calls.
• Be available 1 week out of 2 to answer calls and emails in the evening and on weekends.
• Participate and implement various cost out and optimization warehousing projects.
• Conducts necessary research to explain month-end inventory discrepancies.
• Build, document and update work processes.
• Performs any other tasks related to the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP and ORACLE are an asset.
