Requirements
- Ability to provide comprehensive support to brokers
- Ability to resolve trade queries internally and externally
- Ability to monitor markets and follow financial news and developments
- Ability to understand the underlying products being traded
- Ability to act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out duties
Responsibilities
- Provide complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the PVM Refined Products desk
- Allocate trades immediately after receiving tickets/deals from the desk and ensure timely and accurate input of all trades into trading systems
- Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
- Keep trade records up to date
- Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders
- Liaise with Operations Department and assist in preparation of P&L
- Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis
- Reconcile and match broker commissions to trade and update the commission allocation report
- Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments
- Understand the underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products/procedures
- Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines
- Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties
- Other duties as may be required
