Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end immigration processes including case initiation, documentation preparation, visa application tracking, compliance monitoring; including visa expiration dates and proactively manage renewals to ensure workforce continuity.
- Act as first-line support for employees on immigration matters, addressing policy questions and coordinating with external immigration counsel as needed.
- Advise recruiting teams and hiring managers on immigration requirements and sponsorship considerations.
- Support people ops administration by processing enrollments, changes, and addressing employee inquiries.
- Ensure accuracy of employee data in Workday and maintain compliance with local labor laws.
- Collaborate with legal teams and vendors to ensure compliance with immigration regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR and immigration processes, implementing scalable solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience through process optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HR operations with a focus on immigration, plus experience with other COE administration.
- Experience managing immigration cases and strong knowledge of global employment-based immigration processes, particularly non-immigrant visas (e.g., L-1A/B, H-1B) and immigrant visa matters.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) and case management systems, along with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment.
