Waste Reduction Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Education, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental education, community outreach, or program management.
Strong knowledge of recycling practices, waste management policies, and sustainability issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Proven experience developing educational materials and delivering presentations.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with city and county officials to align municipal goals and services.
Plan and execute community projects, events, and outreach campaigns.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance public communication and citizen engagement.
Serve as a liaison between municipal agencies and the community to foster collaboration and trust.
Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
Ensure effective communication across departments and teams.
Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
