10+ years of comprehensive experience in the roofing industry, with a proven track record of managing and scaling residential and commercial roofing projects, particularly in new construction.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of roofing operations, including project bidding, material procurement, crew management, safety protocols, and quality assurance for various roofing systems (e.g., asphalt shingle, metal, low-slope commercial).
Demonstrated success in client relationship management, securing new projects, contract negotiation, and a strong ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, especially within the new construction sector.
Proven experience in leading and motivating roofing crews and project managers, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring high service standards and job site safety.
Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability within a roofing context.
In-depth knowledge of different roofing materials, installation techniques, building codes, and industry best practices.
A solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), licensing requirements, and permitting processes relevant to roofing in Raleigh, NC.
