Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with DE and MBSE for DoD weapon systems and test enterprise development
- Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapons systems and test enterprise systems
- Experience with DE and MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored mode-based artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development
- Experience conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on enterprise and system performance and behaviors
- Experience with the practical application of System Modeling Language (SyML) for weapon systems modeling and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) for test systems modeling
- Experience integrating DE and MBSE tools, including MagicDraw, Cameo, Teamcenter, DOORS, and SBE Vision
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government clients
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Responsibilities
- Create critical systems to support our client’s Digital Engineering (DE) transformation
- Use system engineering expertise to develop enterprise architectures, descriptive system models, engineering analysis, and engineering reports as needed
- Develop skills in DE and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) while gaining experience with new systems development
- Merge DE, MBSE and Agile systems engineering methods to provide creative solutions for development, implementation, testing, and sustainment of new and legacy systems
- Help turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of using enterprise and system models during government program and technical reviews
- Knowledge of configuration management, risk management, and cybersecurity
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python
- Knowledge of Velocity Template Language (VTL) scripting, and Weapon Open System Architecture (WOSA) design principles and technologies
- Ability to plan and deliver capability and demonstrations using Agile project management
- Ability to produce solutions independently or with a team
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree in a STEM field
- OCSMP Fundamental Certification
- INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) Certification
