Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical accounting, external reporting, or financial statement preparation role, preferably in-house at a public company or Big 4 firm.
- Demonstrated involvement in drafting 10-Ks, 10-Qs, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting compliance documentation.
- Understanding of key accounting standards (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting, impairments).
- Strong interest in transitioning into a product management role or experience already operating as a product manager in accounting, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Prior product management experience, especially in B2B SaaS, legal tech, reg tech, or accounting software.
- Experience working with structured content, data products, or AI/ML-powered tools.
- MBA, CPA, or relevant accounting certification.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for the accounting portfolio within Intelligize, focusing on enhancing our SEC disclosure, technical accounting, and compliance solutions.
- Translate deep subject-matter expertise into strategic initiatives that deliver measurable customer value.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, content, and data science teams to deliver elegant, scalable features tailored to the workflows of accountants and disclosure professionals.
- Lead the product development lifecycle from discovery and requirements to go-to-market and iteration.
- Ensure products meet high standards of accuracy, usability, and reliability, particularly for high-stakes financial reporting.
- Work directly with accounting and finance customers to understand evolving pain points and regulatory shifts.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, and legal stakeholders to ensure successful product adoption and engagement.
