Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science or related field required or advanced related experience within HRIS systems
- 1 year of experience with HRIS platforms or similar business applications (preferred specialty in Workday HCM configuration and reporting)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Minimum of 1 year in progressive HRIS development and implementation required
- Strong attention to details and validation skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computer systems as they relate to Human Resource applications
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the analysis of Microsoft excel spreadsheets
- Ability to deal with employees and the public cordially, sometimes under stressful conditions
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the HRIS, ensuring system integrity, accuracy, and optimal functionality to support HR operations
- Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS-related issues; investigate and resolve system errors, user issues and data discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate closely with HR functional teams (e.g., benefits, payroll, talent acquisition) to support workflows, reporting needs, and system updates
- Partner with the hospital’s IT ERP team to coordinate upgrades, system enhancements, testing, and overall integration efforts
- Develop and deliver training and documentation for HRIS end users to ensure consistent and effective system usage
- Create, manage, and distribute reports and dashboards to provide actionable, data-driven insights to HR and other stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
- Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and security across all HR systems, HR data and processes
- Support special projects and HR initiatives through data analysis and system configuration as needed
