Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in healthcare related field preferred
- Medical, secretarial, and/or customer service experience required
- 2 years in a medical office setting preferred
- Experience as CMA/RMA, MOA or in a call center environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead day to day responsibilities related to scheduling appointments, referral management, registration and check in
- Develop and distribute all required reports and metrics applicable to the department
- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills and lead and train others to enhance customer service to the team
- Identify variances in performance of the department and work with team members to meet expectations
- Train and assist new team members in the onboarding process for the department
- Report issues to the department supervisor or manager as applicable that they cannot resolve with recommendations for how to address performance concerns
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in healthcare related field preferred
- 2 years in a medical office setting preferred
- Experience as CMA/RMA, MOA or in a call center environment preferred
