Requirements
- A PhD in Health Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
- A sound knowledge of the Canadian Health Care system is required.
- A robust understanding of the social and structural determinants of health.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience with large class size at the undergraduate university level.
- Experience with online delivery tools and learning management systems (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).
Preferred Qualifications
- Those at ABD or those with a master’s degree combined with relevant experience will be considered.
