Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Diagnostic Radiology Residency
- Breast Imaging Fellowship
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified or Board Eligible
- Florida Medical License or Eligible
- At least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Breast Imaging
Responsibilities
- Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows
- Provide clinical imaging services, mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and intervention
- Participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conference
- Supervise the performance of technical personnel
- Be part of the on-call radiology schedule
- Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of breast imaging
- Provide breast imaging consultation as requested
- Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair
- Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of breast imaging
- Participate in teaching activities related to breast imaging as required in Diagnostic Radiology and integrated Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology Residency programs, Breast Imaging Fellowship Program, Medical student education program, Radiologic technologist educational programs, Continuing Medical Education programs
- Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research
- Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair
