Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in logistics, delivery, or tech-driven fields
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, drive performance, and manage complex operational challenges
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to optimize operations and drive decisions
  • Deep knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting delivery operations
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficient in operations management software, Excel, and other data analysis tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed and have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of regional delivery teams, ensuring that operations are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with local regulations
  • Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations, driving continuous improvement, and meeting performance targets
  • Lead and mentor a team of Area Operations Managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, adapting operations to meet specific market requirements and delivery restrictions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including technology, logistics, and customer support) to implement operational improvements and align regional goals with company-wide objectives
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, address escalated issues, and maintain service excellence
  • Manage regional budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective delivery operations
  • Drive process improvements by leveraging data, industry trends, and best practices to optimize operations and enhance scalability
