Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as product manager in the financial services space
- 5+ years of product management experience creating product strategy and roadmaps, aligning stakeholders, and setting product vision
- Deep expertise in public equity data, including financials, estimates, aggregates, and indexes
- Proven ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to drive user-centric product innovation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional and executive level leaders
- Self-directed: sets and meets deadlines, multi-tasks, and prioritizes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong bias for action and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving
- Ability to leverage tools (SQL, Tableau, financial modeling tools, MixPanel, FullStory) to analyze data and drive informed product decisions
- Solid understanding of the convergence of private and public markets and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap to increase adoption and engagement of PitchBook products among users
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation by working backwards from the customer journey
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch to end-of-life
- Drive the development of products that address the evolving needs of public equity
- Collaborate with design, engineering, data science, and adjacent product teams to ensure the public equity dataset and capabilities scale and provide meaningful impact to end-users
- Actively define product roadmap prioritization and create business cases for new opportunities
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data driven insights preferred
- 3+ years of experience working with public equity data preferred
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
