Requirements

• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and establish trust.
• Knowledge of automotive service and repair procedures, including basic technical terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software applications used in automotive service departments.

• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed to accommodate customer appointments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they arrive at the service department.
• Listen to customers’ concerns and accurately document their service needs and vehicle issues.
• Schedule service appointments and communicate service recommendations to customers based on their vehicle’s maintenance requirements.
• Provide estimates for service repairs and maintenance, ensuring transparency and clarity in pricing.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance services.
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle’s service and any additional repairs needed.
• Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve any issues to their satisfaction.
• Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and promote customer loyalty.
• Maintain accurate records of service transactions and customer interactions in the dealership’s database.
