Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Data Center network routing, switching technologies, and protocols including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
  • Proficient knowledge in firewall concepts, configuration, and management of firewalls such as Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with Data Center and Enterprise-based wired and wireless network hardware platforms (Nexus, Cisco Wi-Fi, Arista Wi-Fi) and architectures.
  • Proficient knowledge in configuring, troubleshooting, and managing network load balancers such as F5 and Netscaler.
  • Strong expertise in IPv4, IPv6 addressing & subnetting, IP address management, and DNS concepts & troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of network voice infrastructure, including Cisco Unified Communication troubleshooting and management.
  • Solid understanding of SDN concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with Service Provider teams for issues related to WAN circuits and BGP.
  • Collaboration with partner support teams, including TAC support teams of principal vendors like Cisco and Palo Alto.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for L1-level NOC.
  • Execute MoP for changes or troubleshooting issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate network issues effectively.
  • Expertise in network troubleshooting tools and monitoring platforms.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency while staying composed under pressure.
  • Team-oriented, quick learner, and adaptable to changes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-standard certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP).
  • 5-7 years of experience in Network Operations teams.
