Requirements
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex, performant queries against large datasets
- 2+ years of experience working with large, complex data sets in a production environment
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and dashboarding tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Experience developing precise business metrics with strict accuracy requirements and clear documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Technical curiosity and willingness to dive deep into codebases, working alongside engineering teams
- Excellent documentation skills for creating clear, defensible metric definitions and processes
Responsibilities
- Respond to legal and litigation data requests with exceptional precision and speed, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data delivery that meets strict legal standards
- Drive compliance-based transparency reporting including voluntary disclosures, EU Online Safety Act requirements, and emerging regulatory frameworks
- Identify and build scalable solutions for recurring legal and compliance data needs, transforming manual processes into efficient, automated workflows
- Collaborate closely with Adaptive Data teams on safety incident response, diving deep into complex data patterns to diagnose spam waves, abuse trends, and platform safety issues
- Develop highly precise business metrics with exceptional attention to detail, providing accurate metric definitions and bulletproof SQL queries that withstand legal scrutiny
- Partner with Data Engineering teams in production codebases, contributing technical solutions and ensuring data infrastructure meets compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance, compliance, or legal analytics (preferred but not required)
