Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of mortgage lending experience
  • Active NMLS license or registration, with Texas licensing preferred
  • Expertise in mortgage guidelines, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with a preference for experience in Jumbo and non-QM loans
  • Position is a remote role based in Dallas, requiring residency in the Greater DFW area
  • Candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration, additional regulatory screenings may apply, including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information.

Responsibilities

  • Consult and educate clients to assess their financing needs and guide them toward the most suitable mortgage solutions, helping them secure the best financial outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, collaborating to create a seamless and positive home-buying experience for end clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all home financing inquiries, providing expert knowledge on key products, particularly jumbo transactions
  • Manage an ongoing pipeline of loans, focusing primarily on home purchases, refinances, and HELOCs
  • Drive a best-in-class conversion funnel leveraging data to inform actions
  • Work cross-functionally across product operations, and technology to ensure optimal customer outcomes
  • Manage your loan pipeline to ensure you are always on top of client communications, even if it occasionally requires work outside non-standard business hours
  • Obtain mortgage licensing in an estimated 15-20 states, with support from Flourish for registration and ongoing continuing education
  • Maintain excellent communication with internal Flourish leadership and stakeholders
  • Exercise considerable judgment and analysis to arrive at recommendations and/or conclusions
  • Stay current on general trends in the financial markets and mortgage industry, with a focus on wealth management and lending
  • This position is expected to be able to support across the continental US time zones
