Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, venture fund, fintech, financial services company, or role in strategic partnerships
- Proven ability to manage external partner relationships end-to-end and drive cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior and executive audiences
- Strong analytical thinker and problem solver, capable of building models, business cases, and high quality executive-level presentations and decks
- Self-starter with a high level of ownership, energy, and adaptability who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Collaborative, resourceful, and comfortable working with minimal guidance in cross-functional teams
- Passion for fintech, innovation, and building scalable partnership programs
- Candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration, additional regulatory screenings may apply, including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end relationship management for a defined subset of bank partners, including regular touchpoints, contract renewals, strategic negotiations, and performance monitoring
- Lead sourcing and qualification efforts through market research, segmentation, and sizing analysis. Oversee outreach, manage initial discussions, negotiate terms, and coordinate onboarding across internal teams.
- Conduct capacity modeling, rate competitiveness analysis, and develop FDIC insurance calculation tools to inform partnership strategy and decision making
- In collaboration with the Head of Strategic Partnership, develop and maintain partnerships relationship management framework to deepen engagement and drive program stability and growth
- Strategically segment and evaluate the WealthTech and fintech ecosystems to identify and prioritize high-potential partnership opportunities
- Coordinate internal initiatives across technology partnerships, including performance tracking, competitive analysis, and revenue optimization strategies
- Create and maintain a pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities, which includes strategic sourcing, opportunity quantification, and business case development
- Prepare executive-level presentations that combine quantitative and qualitative insights on market fit, opportunity size, level of effort, and economic impact
- Design and launch repeatable preferred partnership programs for our Flourish products
- Coordinate cross-functional go-to-market efforts for new partnerships, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Define and track OKRs and performance metrics to drive consistent and measurable partnership outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or closely with fintechs, banks, or WealthTech platforms
- Experience in a Strategy and Ops, BizOps, or Partnerships role at a startup or fintech company
- Prior experience building or scaling a partnerships function, preferred partner programs, or go-to-market strategy
- Exposure to B2B2C or platform distribution models, especially in financial services
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and partnership tracking or reporting systems
- Experience drafting or negotiating partnership agreements or working with legal teams on deal structuring
- Comfortable with light financial modeling, partner performance forecasting, or strategic planning frameworks
- Experience representing a company at industry events or networking engagements
