Requirements
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Experience in managing utility services including electric, water, and steam
- Technical school certificate and 5+ years related experience; or High School Diploma or GED, and 8+ years related experience
- 5+ years supervisory experience
- Hands on trade experience in welding, PLC, electrical wiring, mechanical
- Knowledge of current trade related regulations and practices
- Ability to operate MHE equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical controls and use of electrical multi-meter devices
- Ability to logically organize tasking
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all conveyor systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build and implement improvements in distributed control systems
- Inspect, diagnose and repair complex electrical/power distribution issues
- Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment installation or maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and other automated systems within the utility framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrical maintenance lead or similar position is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintaining utility systems
- Previous exposure to distributed control systems and logic controllers
- Hands on trade experience, welding, PLC, electrical wiring, mechanical, and demonstrated problem solving skills preferred
