Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Passing score and certificate of required language issued by approved language testing vendor

Responsibilities
- Works out of an automated predefined queue, calling patients to discuss balances due and payment options
- Provides high level insurance and patient responsibility education
- Negotiates with patients to resolve their financial liability and educates on availability of financial assistance
- Establish payment plans within guidelines
- Process credit card payments
- Responsible for meeting productivity and quality measure set
- Document accounts accurately in the EMR (Epic)
- Ability to interpret to assist patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in collections, customer service or call center
- Knowledge of general medical billing and insurance
