Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent and two years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction or repair work; OR equivalent education/experience.
- A valid driver’s license may be required with the ability to meet requirements in accordance with SPPM7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of maintenance functions required to maintain university buildings.
- Inspect, provide preventative maintenance, repairs and alterations to support the students, faculty and staff of WSU Vancouver.
- Serve as a subject matter expert with coworkers or represent the university to vendors.

- Design, estimate, plan, acquire, and lead (5%)
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating motorized equipment such as tractors and lifts.
- Experience operating a forklift or ability to obtain a forklift certification within 9 months of hire.
