Manufacturing Supervisor

3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment with a Proven track record of continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate with senior leadership
Must possess ability to work and cope well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ensure that products are manufactured to meet internal goals while meeting the quality and delivery expectations of our customers whether internal or external.
Promote a safe work environment and assure employees follow all safety policies.
Anticipate and react to production problems, delays, material shortages and equipment malfunctions.
Participate in Kaizen activities and drive employee engagement. This position requires a passion and understanding of Lean Six Sigma, 5-S and driving continuous improvement.
Work with engineering to effect improvements in cost, quality, work simplification and ongoing continuous improvement activities. Assist with RCAs and corrective actions.
Clearly communicate goal expectations, status, gaps and countermeasures through visual management and Tier Meetings.
Ensure production employees are accurately trained and work instructions are followed.
Facilitate interdepartmental cooperation and understanding; provide team mentorship and supervision to ensure a positive work environment and employee engagement that supports Axon core values.
Responsible for addressing any engagement opportunities identified during Employee Engagement Surveys.
Hire, train and develop team members and motivate and drive accountability.
Develop and implement projects in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
