Senior Persian Farsi Linguist

Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
Bachelors Degree
Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test
Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation
In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
Master use of MS Office and internet research

Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English
Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that contain facts and some abstract language
Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text
Interpret accurately, typically using consecutive interpretation, but may also require simultaneous interpretation
Review audio or internet materials and transcribe with a high degree of accuracy and expression
Prepare reports with excellent English-language written communication skills
