Requirements
- Ability to approach patients for participation in research protocols
- Obtain consent and biofluids for research
- Maintain detailed records of consent and patient questions
- Collaborate with VUMC perioperative nurses
- Report consent numbers quarterly to VICC
Responsibilities
- Patient Identification, approach, explanation of research study and consent
- Consent Mailings and IRB required Documentation
- Fluids Collection and Processing
- VICC Data Collection and Cancer Center Reporting for Comprehensive Cancer Center Status
- IRB Continuing review data collection- Assisting investigators with collection of accrual data, metrics and demographics
- Budgetary, forecasting and metrics
