Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, catalog operations, or label strategy
- Comfortable negotiating commercial terms and managing multi-stakeholder relationships
- Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partner Acquisition: Identify and pursue high-impact label and catalog opportunities across genres and markets
- Catalog & Operational Expertise: Lead technical onboarding and rights workflows for incoming catalogs; ensure metadata, monetization, and rights management are fully optimized
- Commercial Deal Structuring: Negotiate and close commercially sound, scalable deals in collaboration with legal, finance, and executive stakeholders
- Label Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted partner to label executives and catalog owners, maintaining a long-term view on growth and performance
- Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage internal and external data to prioritize outreach, guide decisions, and craft value-driven narratives for prospective partners
- Internal Influence & Execution: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure new partnerships are well-supported, scalable, and aligned with platform capabilities and goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record working across dealmaking, rights management, and catalog onboarding
- Deep understanding of music distribution infrastructure and rights metadata standards
