Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other analytical degree with equivalent work experience
- Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or other relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills in closing process gaps and resolving issues
- Proficiency with MS Excel and advanced functionality
- Demonstrated aptitude with a desire to learn and apply emerging technologies
Responsibilities
- Drive financial management reporting and analysis for a specified functional group/sub-group and/or specific profit element.
- Utilize analytical models for functional (or profit element) budgets and forecasts and variance analysis comparing actual results vs. projections
- Partner with operational teams to ensure alignment of financial projections with operational objectives and physical drivers.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for business cases, supporting decision-making and prioritization processes.
- Develop data-driven analyses of risks to be mitigated or opportunities to be pursued, and model alternate action plans to optimize results.
- Support management of data structure within corporate systems to support effective and accurate cost/profit data aligned with organizational areas of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, and cost benefit analysis
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI reporting tools
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
