Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in Order Management Systems (OMS)
  • Strong expertise in Fluent Commerce, including configuration, customization, and API integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript (Node.js), GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proven experience in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Deep understanding of order lifecycle management, inventory management, and fulfillment orchestration
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including working with ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and WMS platforms
  • Experience in leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and conducting code reviews
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in an agile environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Fluent Commerce OMS solutions, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Architect and implement order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfillment, and return management solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and best practices
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews to development teams working on OMS implementations
  • Ensure seamless integration of Fluent Commerce with ERP, eCommerce platforms, WMS, and other enterprise systems
  • Develop and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices to maintain system quality and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing system performance and scalability
  • Stay updated with industry trends and Fluent Commerce updates, proactively applying new features and improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Fluent Commerce certification or prior implementations in large-scale enterprises
  • Knowledge of headless commerce architecture and MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) principles
  • Experience in DevOps practices, including monitoring and logging solutions (Kibana, Datadog, Splunk)
  • Exposure to GraphQL-based commerce solutions and other OMS platforms
